who owns eagle Island? My son and I paddled out and walked around for 3 hours back around July 2008. Wonderful memories.

I feel embarrassed that I relied on rumor, since just a little research on my part would have led me to the Maine Coastal Island Registry (MCIR). There are several Eagle Islands in Maine, but the one in Saco has the registration number 81-010. The MCIR shows that Eagle Island in Saco is owned by the Saco Yacht Club (number of the original deed is 1020/52), and was registered on October 10, 1980. You can view the Registry online here.
