would you try
to tell me
there’s no God?
would you try
to save me
from some hell?
Would you have,
like most, an
axe to grind?
But what if
all I want
is to talk?

This is a conversation I would be very interested in having.
I would say there is no God
at least by most definitions told.
Yet the definition held
and the holder’s interaction
tell much.
So I would ask
How do you see God?
Like Jacob do you wrestle?
Like Mary do you listen or
like Martha do you work?
