The trailhead is a short drive from Palo Alto, and the hike in is just two miles with only 500 foot elevation gain, making it a nice get-away for both church and Ecojustice Camp kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I got up before sunrise and heard some Great Horned Owls.
