Half the time, the snow misses us.&#8221; Claudette, who has also lived around here pretty much all her life, nodded sagely. Linda went on, &#8220;Like Lakeville will get <em>clobbered,<\/em> and we&#8217;ll get nothing.&#8221; Lakeville is the town just north of New Bedford. <\/p>\n<p>This morning when I got up, the sky was dark grey and it was snowing madly. By the time I got dressed and got out the door, the snow had mostly stopped.
