Online religious content

Religious content of Church 1.0 is usually distributed via weekly worship services and print publications. Religious content includes sermons, prayers/meditations, essays, etc.

In Church 2.0, the same religious content might be distributed in several different forms. For example, a sermon might be distributed (a) as spoken word in Sunday morning worship, (b) as streamed video/audio via the church Web site, (c) as printed sermon appearing on sermon blog (d) as a podcast -- and so on. The online distribution allows for off-site listening (example b), for listening at another time (example d), for interaction with the preacher (example c), and so on.

Worship 2 0:

• Streamed worship -- Live audio and video streaming of weekly worship services
• Recorded worship -- Recorded audio and video of weekly worship services, including podcasts and downloads
• Text worship -- Text versions of weekly worship services, including emailed sermons, sermon blogs, etc.
