This ease of interaction and operation makes a wiki an effective tool for collaborative authoring." Wikipedia is one example of a wiki -- although some would argue that creating an encylopedia is not the best application of a wiki Web site. In my opinion, a wiki is an excellent way for a geographically dispersed group of people to collaborate on the early stages of brainstorming and defining a project.
